Classe hospitalar do Hospital Infantil Ismélia Silveira: o olhar do aluno sobre o ambiente e suas perspectivas sobre o pós-alta

Abstract

This research has as main objective analyse the work developed in the Hospital Infantil Ismélia Silveira (HIIS) hospital class as a legit space of health and education promotion. The hospital class educational actions are understood as real possibilities of inclusive education with diadactic-pedagogical fabric and the student as a cognoscente being who is hospitalized and has the right to develop himself/herself, to learn and to continue schooling. This work featured in the observation of specificities of educational practice developed in the hospital accordingly with the understanding (the look) that the student reveals about the HIIS class hospital atmosphere and his/her perspectives of the post discharge. Through the drawings, as well as through the questions about what is drawn, the students reveal the way they perceive the hospital class atmosphere and what they imagine (see) of after leaving the hospital. Through the subjectivities revealed and interpreted, we seek for giving visibility to the child's look about this educational service morality, guaranteed by law and unknown for the majority of those whom attend educational spaces. For us to understand the changes ocurred since the beginning of the hospital, we make use of health/disease concepts, of representations' construction about disease in childhood and about hospital class, which emerges to ensure the right of education. However, we know that it os still a challenge to offer to every child or adolescent, which are patients in the hospital, services of a hospital class. In the other hand, what we can not accept is the unkowledge of this right that is institutionally guaranteed to them. The research made during september of 2013 and june of 2015 is put in the qualitative approach of etnographic mark and is based on the principles and methods of bibliographic in education and on the hospital padagogy theories. The corpus used for the study comprehends the analysis of 13 (thirteen) interviews of students in treatment in nurseries of HIIS, in Duque de Caxias, RJ. And The reflections and analysis proportioned by the research could reveal that the inclusion in the hospital class, besides ensuring the right of education and learning, also features to the construction of strategies to face the disease and the hospitalization, as it promotes autonomy, the costriction of affective bonds, ludicity, strategies that make possible the listening, the communication and the knowledge of himself/herself, and of the people and the social context around, making the stress of being a patient lower.
